Absentee Owner Service

Owning a second home or a home that you live far away from can be full of struggles and difficulties. Let us help you with walk throughs and maintenance coordination. 

 

​In addition to a visual inspection with pictures we also take care of the following items to help protect your property.

 

Security

  • Check all entry points 

  • Make sure all doors are locked and secured

​​

AC/Electric

  • Electric: Check breaker panel for tripped breakers

  • Check AC is functioning

  • Adjust thermostat as needed

  • Change filter*

​

General

  • Look for broken windows

  • Check for unusual smells or sounds

  • Replace smoke alarm batteries if needed*

​

Plumbing/Water

  • Run water to prevent sewer gas from dry traps

  • Flush toilets

  • Look for signs of mold/mildew

​

Exterior

  • Visual inspection of roof

  • Visual inspection of gutters

  • Visual inspection of pool*

  • Visual inspection of lawn and landscaping

  • Remove unwanted flyers and newspapers from yard/mailbox

Additional services*

  • Pre and post hurricane inspections

  • Contractor/handyman coordination of work

  • Anything else that might be needed to protect your home

Services start at $84 and are based on size of home and additional features like pool or out buildings.
